Itinerary

Day 1
Pick up from the Airport

Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. If you wish, you can explore the city with a guided tour, visiting the Cultural Heritage art gallery, the local market, and the Maasai Market. This tour offers a chance to experience Arusha's cultural highlights before you settle in at your lodge. You'll be accommodated in an executive room at Mount Meru Hotel.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins today! After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your lodge at 7:45 am for a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and ancient Baobab trees, Tarangire offers a stunning backdrop for your journey. You'll explore the park in an open-roof vehicle, marveling at the seasonal swamps, vast savannas, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for a variety of bird species, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and, of course, the magnificent elephants. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch at a picturesque spot with breathtaking views, then continue your wildlife adventure. In the evening, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park

Following your morning meal, your excursion to Serengeti commences. The upcoming journey may entail considerable distance and occasional rough terrain, yet it promises an enriching 4-5 hours of wildlife observation as you ascend the crater highlands towards the vast expanses of Serengeti. If weather permits, a brief 10-minute halt will be made at Ngorongoro Viewpoint, offering a fleeting glimpse of the majestic caldera before continuing towards Serengeti.

You'll indulge in a delightful midday picnic amidst the journey, providing a chance to replenish your energy and absorb the picturesque surroundings. Upon reaching the park, an afternoon safari will be arranged, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the abundant wildlife. As dusk descends, you'll journey to your lodging, where a delectable evening meal awaits, followed by a tranquil overnight stay amidst the serene ambiance of Serengeti.

Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Immerse yourself in a full day of exploration within Serengeti National Park. From the break of dawn until nightfall, engage in an exhilarating safari experience, venturing out on captivating game drives to encounter the majestic Big Five and a diverse range of over 500 bird species. As twilight approaches, return to your lodging to savor a delectable dinner and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay. For an additional fee, you can enhance your adventure with the option of a Hot Air Balloon Safari or a Walking Safari.

Black Rhino Tracking in Moru, Serengeti

As dawn breaks, commence an exciting rhino tracking expedition in Moru. After enjoying a satisfying breakfast, join ranger guides aboard a 4x4 vehicle to navigate the rugged terrain and meticulously search for elusive black rhinos. Observe these magnificent creatures in their natural environment while maintaining a safe distance. This immersive experience contributes to the vital conservation efforts of the Serengeti Rhino Project, ensuring the protection of these iconic animals for generations to come. After the rhino tracking adventure, continue your exploration of Serengeti's breathtaking landscapes before returning to your luxurious tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Today begins with an early rise, as you wake in the morning to rendezvous with the safari vehicle at 6:00 am. The goal is to set out on a sunrise game drive, capitalizing on the optimal time when animals are most active. Following an invigorating wildlife encounter, you'll pause at a picturesque picnic spot nestled in the heart of the bush. Here, indulge in a delightful breakfast amidst the untouched splendor of nature.

The game drive will extend until noon, providing ample opportunity for further exploration and wildlife sightings. Afterward, you'll break for lunch before continuing your journey towards Ngorongoro. By late afternoon, you'll reach your accommodation, where a delicious dinner awaits, promising a comfortable and pleasant overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

Commence your day bright and early as you board the safari vehicle at 6:00 am. Your destination? The majestic Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll descend with a packed breakfast in tow. This remarkable location hosts a rich variety of East African wildlife, including the elusive black rhino, offering the chance for memorable sightings. Covering an expansive 260 square kilometers with a diameter of around 20 kilometers, exploring its wonders will require approximately 5 to 6 hours. Following an unforgettable experience in the crater, your journey back to Arusha will commence, with an estimated arrival in town around 5 to 6 pm, marking the end of your remarkable safari adventure.
