You'll be picked up early from your hotel and transferred to the Serengeti, arriving in the afternoon for lunch and a full afternoon game drive. The Serengeti, meaning "endless plains" in the local language, spans 6,900 sq. miles (18,000 sq. km) and is home to the great migration, with 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelopes. It's also a prime spot for spotting lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many famous scenes filmed here. Smaller animals like foxes, honey badgers, jackals, baboons, and African hares, along with over 500 bird species, also inhabit the park. Upgraded accommodation options are available.
