DAY 1
Arusha airport to arusha city

Greetings and welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Arusha or KIA Airport, our guide will be there to extend a warm welcome and provide assistance as needed. They will ensure your seamless transfer to the Gran Melia Hotel in Arusha city, where you will enjoy an overnight stay. Our aim is to deliver an unforgettable and memorable experience during your time in Tanzania.

DAY 2
Arusha to Gombe national park

Following an early breakfast, take a flight from Arusha to Kigoma town. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a driver who will escort you for a scenic boat ride on Lake Tanganyika, leading directly to Gombe Stream National Park. Enjoy an overnight stay at Mbali Mbali Gombe Lodge. The following day will be dedicated to the fascinating world of chimpanzees!

Gombe national park

After breakfast, embark on a thrilling day of game viewing and chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Climb to the summit of James Peak within the park and then return to the camp for a delicious lunch. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure before dinner and an overnight stay at Mbali Mbali Gombe Lodge.

Experience the dream of witnessing chimpanzees in their natural habitat by visiting Gombe Stream National Park, where Jane Goodall conducted her pioneering research on chimpanzee behavior. Nestled along the western border of Tanzania on the eastern shores of Lake Tanganyika, this intimate national park is accessible only by boat. Gombe to Mahale Mountain national park

The next day brings another incredible experience as you journey to Mahale Mountains National Park, home to a large population of wild chimpanzees. After breakfast, embark on a 2.5-hour drive followed by a boat ride from Gombe National Park to Mahale National Park. Unlike most parks, Mahale has no roads, requiring exploration on foot. Accompanied by experienced guides, embark on a hike through the mountains in search of chimpanzee groups. Once found, you'll have ample time to observe these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat—a truly magical experience. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at Mbali Mbali Mahale Lodge.

DAY 5
Mahale mountain national park to arusha airport

After an incredible experience with the chimpanzees, it's time to begin your journey back to Kigoma from Mahale. This scenic and adventurous journey involves traveling by boat and car, taking approximately eight hours. Later, you'll fly from Kigoma to Arusha/KIA airport for your departure. This marks the end of your safari adventure! Today, you'll fly to KIA Airport in Moshi, where you'll catch your flight home. Considering extending your holiday?
