Day 1 — Arrival in Arusha
A quiet beginning
Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be warmly received by the MOAK team and transferred to your lodge.
This first day is intentionally light. After travel, the journey begins not with pressure, but with a softer landing — a calm room, a warm meal, and space to settle before the wild begins to open around you. The evening remains your own.

Day 2 — Arusha to Ndutu
Where the plains open
After breakfast, your journey continues toward Ndutu. As the landscape begins to widen, the feeling of safari arrives properly. The road carries you out of the familiar and into open country, where the horizon stretches and the day begins to take on a different kind of silence.
Depending on the season, Ndutu can feel alive with movement — herds gathering, predators watching, and the plains carrying a quiet tension beneath their beauty. Your first afternoon is not built around urgency. It is built around arrival. A gentle game drive introduces the region, followed by a quiet return to camp as the light softens across the grasslands.

Day 3 — Ndutu
The wild in motion
Today is spent in the Ndutu region, where the landscape carries one of the most dynamic rhythms in the wider Serengeti ecosystem. This is a place of openness, movement, and extraordinary contrasts — softness in the morning light, rawness in predator activity, and the living presence of the herds across the plains.
Yet even here, the journey remains intimate. There is time to stay with the right moments. Time to return to camp and rest. Time for the afternoon to reopen gently, leading into another drive beneath the long gold of evening.

Day 4 — Ndutu to Ngorongoro Highlands
Leaving the plains, rising into stillness
This morning offers a final drive through Ndutu before the journey begins to climb toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. The transition changes everything. The wide, sun-washed plains begin to fall behind, replaced by cooler air, green slopes, and a more secluded atmosphere.
What the journey loses in openness, it gains in privacy and depth. By afternoon, you arrive in the highlands, where the mood becomes softer and more enclosed. This is the quiet half of the safari — a place where the pace slows further, the evenings feel more private, and the shared stillness becomes part of the experience itself.

Day 5 — Ngorongoro Crater
A world held within walls
An early start brings you down into the crater. Ngorongoro carries a different energy from Ndutu. Here, wildlife is held within one extraordinary natural enclosure, where the scale feels both vast and intimate at once. The floor of the crater offers rich game viewing, changing light, and one of the strongest safari settings in Tanzania for a day that feels full without becoming hurried.
By midday, you begin the ascent once more and return to the highlands. The afternoon is left softer. Time to rest, to sit together, to let the day settle. And by evening, the journey turns toward its final sunset under a quieter sky.

Day 6 — Ngorongoro Highlands to Arusha / Departure
A gentle return
After breakfast, you begin the journey back toward Arusha. The return is calm and uncomplicated, giving the safari space to close with the same grace with which it began. No forced final act. No unnecessary weight.
Only the quiet afterglow of a journey shaped around beauty, privacy, and the elegance of moving well through the wild. Depending on your onward plans, you will connect for departure or continue with the next chapter of your travels.
