The Foundation
MOAK Tanzania Safaris was shaped through years of lived experience in Tanzania’s wild places — not by trends, but by time, knowledge, and proximity to the land.
Under the vision of our Founder and Managing Director, Moses Kumbulu, MOAK was built on a simple belief: that a meaningful safari is not about rushing from sighting to sighting, but about understanding rhythm, respecting place, and letting the experience unfold with depth.
The Evolution
Today, that legacy is being carried forward by the next generation. As Operations Director, Charles brings together inherited bush understanding and a more modern way of shaping safari experiences.
From deep operational knowledge to the creation of AVEEXA, our safari design layer, we continue to refine how journeys are shaped. For us, technology is not a replacement for human care — it is a tool that helps us listen better, think more clearly, and begin each safari in a more thoughtful way.
